Jennifer Kiser, PA Physician Assistant
Jennifer Kiser, P.A. is a certified physician assistant, earning both her undergraduate degree and completing the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Kiser began her career assisting in Cardiothoracic Surgery in 1991 and transitioned to Pain Management in 1997. As a Surgical and Interventional Specialist, she has worked alongside the world’s leading physician in intrathecal drug delivery, Dr. Stearns, for nearly 17 years implanting Intrathecal Pain Pumps and Neurostimulation Systems, monitoring and maintaining the devices, seeing patients, and contributing to both research and educational articles. Ms. Kiser brings unique insight, experience and expertise along with compassion for those suffering the debilitating effects of pain. It is her primary focus to ensure the well-being of her patients and that each person receives the utmost in care and comfort. She is recognized as an expert in the field of Intrathecal Therapy and manages these devices with a careful balance of finesse and aggressiveness. Ms. Kiser is praised for her knowledge, determination, thoughtfulness and heart-felt dedication to her field. Jennifer Kiser is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and often speaks as an expert at local and national medical conferences on the topic of pain and symptom management. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Ms. Kiser assists in identifying and following research participants and has been a co-author of articles on intrathecal drug delivery for patients with cancer-related pain.
